Sharing the vision for truth and unity
in communion with the successor of Peter

The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham
was established in 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI
to allow Anglicans to enter into the full communion of the Catholic Church
whilst retaining much of their heritage and traditions.

We exist to promote the unity of all Christians with the Apostolic See, and faithfully to proclaim
the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the rich treasures of our traditions.

Called to be ...

In 2014 the Ordinariate launched Called to be ONE.
This was followed in 2015 by Called to be HOLY and in 20016 by Called to be CATHOLIC.

Called to be APOSTOLIC was to follow ... but is still to happen!

These initiatives of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham
are aimed at sharing the "liturgical, spiritual and pastoral traditions
of the Anglican Communion with the Catholic Church",
which Pope Benedict XVI described as
"a precious gift nourishing the faith of the members of the Ordinariate
and as a treasure to be shared".

We invite you to explore these pages and to share the vision of the Unity of the
whole Christian Church, part of the great prayer of Jesus 'that we might all be one'.

Almighty God, our heavenly Father,
who granted to the Lady Richeldis
a vision of the Mother of your Son:
Grant to us, your pilgrim people,
that, through the prayers
of Our Lady of Walsingham,
we may come at last
to the port of heaven;
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
